Marlene Walker-Golden is a Washington DC based media rights manager with more than 20 years’ experience in television. Her expertise resides in reporting and analysis of video assets and overseeing KlarisIP’s managed service division at National Geographic.
Marlene built her foundation of knowledge as a production assistant, associate producer, and editor focused on copyright and contracts. She then moved on to manage rights and clearance divisions at educational, research and scientific centers such as the Smithsonian Institution.
Marlene studied Film Production, along with Anthropology and Spanish, at Ithaca College. In her free time, she enjoys running and animal rescue.
